What we shipped. What’s next.

Faultline states its own limits as plainly as its features. A published date stays on this page even if it slips.

0.1.0First working instrument

2026-08-22

  • A diagnostic that adapts to your profile: four questions decide which risk axes actually apply, and you only see what concerns your situation.
  • A report built entirely from a fact registry. Every figure, date and legal reference carries its source and the date it was checked. A finding without a source is refused.
  • Four qualitative levels rather than a score, and the words “exposure” and “reach” rather than “probability” and “impact”, because neither is measured.
  • One report readable four ways: full, board summary, legal brief, technical brief. All views over a single content, so they cannot drift apart. PDF export included.
  • No account, no identifier. Your report lives behind a private link, then it is destroyed rather than hidden.

What this version does not do

  • Most facts cite a Faultline document rather than a source you can reopen yourself. Every fact is sourced; external sourcing is the next major piece of work.No longer true — 2026-08-25 — 44 of the 45 facts in the registry now carry an address you can open. The one exception is a benchmark drawn from our own case analysis, and the report marks it as such.
  • One axis, sector-specific exposure, carries no registry facts yet. The report tells you so when you click it, rather than showing an empty panel. No longer true — 2026-08-25 — the axis now carries facts, for finance: the Australian prudential standard CPS 230 and the Japanese FSA report on IT resilience. Other sectors still have none.
  • No email delivery. We ask for no address at all, so the link shown on screen is the only copy.
  • English and French only.

Dates are months, never exact days: a day we cannot hold tells you less than a month we can. A target that slips stays on this page and says so. We do not quietly remove them.

0.2September 2026

  • External sourcing of the registry, so you can reopen the sources behind each fact instead of taking our word for it.
  • A missing regulatory framework for Hong Kong finance, added with its source.
  • This page.
  • A documented continuity plan. We apply to ourselves the dependency risk the tool measures.
  • A focused review of the flow’s accessibility and the code that computes risk ratings.

0.3November 2026

  • Facts behind the sector-specific axis, so it stops being rated with nothing to cite.
  • Early-warning indicators: how often a fact moves, to flag the ones stirring before they change.
  • A confidence dimension derived from how many independent sources back each fact.
  • Chinese and Korean, once the translation engine is in place.
  • A full typography and layout pass. A proper PDF cover page included.
